(b) The poet compares hope to a bird that sings. This is a metaphorical description where a quality is being demonstrated as a physical being.


(c) The poet says that hope dwells in the soul of every living being.


(d) The poet says that hope resides in the soul and sings a song which has no words.


(e) In the lines preceding the one that is given above, the poet has used a metaphor and describes hope as a bird that sings. In the given line, the poet says that hope sings a song endlessly i.e. it always singing without getting tired. This is actually a representation that ‘hope never dies in the heart; it never ceases to exist’.
