Different crops are grown in different regions. Give reasons.

Agriculture is a type of primary economic activity which deals with the usage of natural resources and it is highly influenced by physical factors like climate, topography etc. Different forms of agriculture are practiced in the world which depends upon a variety of physical, environmental and socio-economic conditions. The quality and quantity of the crops grown are dependent on the type of climate in which it is being practiced leading to agriculture’s diverse nature. The country’s economic standing also affects the diversity of agricultural practices. Developing countries practice intensive agriculture of food grains to support their huge populations. Developed countries practice commercial farming with large farmlands at their disposal.
