Discuss the constitutional provisions that deal with marginalisation.

Marginalisation is the process where a person is is dominated by a majority with complete disregard of his needs and desires.

There are many constitutional provisions that deal with marginalisation.


● Article 17 of the Constitution states that untouchability is abolished.


● No one can prevent others from educating themselves, entering the temple or using any public facilities.


● Article 15 of the Constitution states that no citizen of India will be discriminated on the ground of religion, caste, gender, etc.


● The government tries to promote a Social Justice set up by providing subsidized hostels for the students of Dalit and Adivasi community.


● Reservation policy in the field of education has also been established.


● Different types of scholarship programs are also given to students.


● Laws related to education, wages, cultural rights and rights against exploitation have also been established.
