Why are people allowed to go to courts against the government’s decisions?

People are allowed to go against the government's decision due to the Fundamental rights mentioned in the Constitution of India. If they feel their right is being violated or the decision is not in favour of the interest of the general public, they can go against it. The court helps to keep a check on the working of the government so that it does not misuse its power.
