Explain the reasons why the results of poverty alleviation programmes have been mixed up.

Even though there were a lot of schemes that have been implemented but the results were mixed up. This is because:

i) The programmes were not probably implemented and tackled in the way it should have been done to work out.

ii) The benefits did not reach all the poor people who deserved to fall under the schemes.

iii) Some overlapped with the others if not fully.

iv) The schemes were not monitored properly.
