State the dimensions of poverty.

The two dimensions of poverty as seen is hunger and lack of shelter.

i) People do not get enough food and proper shelter which are the basic needs of every individual.


ii) There are also many families who cannot send their children to gain proper education which is every child’s right due to the scarcity of money.


iii) Even for some affording good treatment when sick was very difficult.


iv) Scarcity of clean drinking water and hygiene along with proper sanitation is also scarce.


v) Not only in education, health areas but poor people also suffer in grounds of employment with lack of job opportunities.


vi) Receiving ill-treatment in every place due to the weaker economic strength.


vii) Poor people face social exclusion, that is, they are supposed to live in poorer surroundings and are more vulnerable.
