(a) Estuary

An estuary is a partially enclosed body of water formed where freshwater from the land meets and mixes with saltwater from the ocean. They vary in size as per the location.

(b) Delta

They are triangular deposits made by rivers at their mouths. They are formed in regions of low tides and coastal plains. They are agriculturally very fertile.
