The Ganges-Brahmaputra Delta is a river delta in the Bengal region of the Indian subcontinent, consisting of Bangladesh and the Indian state of West Bengal


Some of its features are:


1. It forms a fertile alluvial plain.


2. It is bounded by mountains and Sunderbans delta.


3. It has a surface area of around 100,000 Sq. km
