Give reasons for the following:

Population growth has to be brought under control.

If the population growth is not controlled, then over population may lead to shortage of foods and living places, increase the unemployment, low income. Monetary shortages will become a big issue. It will lead to economic disruption broadening the poverty level. It will hamper rural and urban developments and lead to social and political unrest. So, there is a need to control population growth.
