Name three Indian rulers who became victims of British annexation policies.

The three Indian rulers were-

Wajid Ali Shah, the ruler of Awadh. He was deposed and Awadh was annexed to the British on the basis of misgovernment


Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi-Her state was annexed on the basis of Doctrine of lapse. Her adopted son was not considered as a natural heir.


Surendra Sai Raja of Sambhalpur-He was legally entitled to the crown after the death of Maharaja Madhukar sai in 1827. But he was not acceptable to the Britishers.
