Give a brief description of conventional and non-conventional sources of energy.

Conventional sources of energy also known as non-renewable sources of energy are those energy resources which are obtained from fixed energy resources in nature. They will be exhausted if continuously used. It takes plenty of years to form these types of energy. Example- Coal, Petroleum, natural gas.

Non-conventional sources also known as renewable sources of energy are those who are inexhaustible and continuously produced and don’t cause any pollution. Example- Solar Energy, Tidal Energy, Wind energy etc.
