Ascariasis is caused by a common round worm, Ascaris which is an intestinal parasite.


Symptoms of Ascariasis – Muscular pain, fever, anemia, internal bleeding and blockage of intestinal passage.


A healthy person gets this disease through contaminated water, fruits, vegetables, etc. so the best way to avoid this infection is boiling water before drinking and washing fruits and vegetables properly before consuming.
