How does Gambusia fish help in controlling the spread of Malaria?

Gambusia fish is considered as a biological control for malaria. Anopheles mosquitoes are the carrier for the malaria causing protozoan. Gambusia feeds on the larvae of Anopheles mosquito. Thus, it helps in controlling the spread of malaria.
