Its symptoms are:


a. Fever


b. Intestinal blockage


Its mode of infection is:


a. The eggs of the parasite are excreted along with faeces of infected person which contaminate soil, water and plants.


b. A healthy person gets infected through contaminated water, fruits and vegetables.


It is caused by Ascaris (a common round worm).
