Write one rational and one irrational number lying between 0.25 and 0.32

Rational number = 0.3


Irrational number = √0.26


A rational number is one which can be represented in the form p/q, where q is not equal to 0.


The number 0.3 lies between 0.25 and 0.32 and can be represented as 3/10; hence, it is a rational number.


Whereas the number √0.26 has non-ending value 0.509901951….. and it cannot be represented in the form p/q hence, it is an irrational number.
