Climate of a region plays a vital factor in attracting tourists. For example, people residing in states like Rajasthan and Gujarat, which have extremely hot climate throughout the year, will obviously prefer places like Ooty or Darjeeling to spend their vacation. Again, people who stay in cold, hilly regions like Shillong or Bhutan will like to visit places in South India like Kerala. Also, before going to any tourist spot, the tourists also decide whether they will have to face some adverse climatic conditions like extreme rain or snowfall which can be harmful to their stay. According to these climatic factors, the tourists will decide in which place they would go and which place they would avoid.
