Transport network represents that pattern which is formed by various places, called nodes, joined collectively via a series of routes, called links. It describes that structure which allows either vehicular motion or flow of commodities. Transport networks are exemplified by not only the road networks but also railways, pipelines, power lines, air routes, and aqueducts.
