What is the type of charge on AgI colloidal sol formed when AgNO3 solution is added to KI solution?

When AgNO3 solution is added to KI solution, the ppt of AgI adsorbs negative charge i.e. it adsorbs I- from dispersion medium resulting in a negative sol which can be represented as AgI/I-.
