Benzyl chloride is highly reactive towards SN1 reaction. Why?

SN1 reactions are unimolecular substitution nucleophillic reactions. In these reactions the reactivity depends on the stability of carbocation, more the stability of carbocation, more will be the reactivity. Benzyl chloride on losing the chloride ions get a +ve charge on ring which can be easily stabilized by the resonance. And due to this, benzyl chloride is highly reactive towards SN1 reaction.
