Q26 of 40 Page 1

The radius of a circle is 17.5 cm. find the area of the sector of the circle enclosed by two radii and an arc 44 cm in length.

Given,

Radius of circle, r = 17.5 cm

Arc of the sector = 44 cm

[1]

To find: Area of sector

Multiplying equation [1] by both sides, we get

⇒ Area of sector = 22(17.5) = 165 cm2
