Given,


Radius of each circle = 5cm


So,


Side of square = 10cm


Area of square = (10)2 = 100cm2


Area of each quadrant of circle with radius 5cm =



Area of 4 quadrants =


Area of remaining portion = 100-25π = 21.5cm2
