Approximately, how many genes have been Discovered in humans?

The unit of heredity transmitted from one generation to next are called genes. Genes occur on chromosome and they go wherever chromosomes go. According to the latest findings there are 30,000 genes in the humans.

Note: This was discovered in an international research named Human Genome Project which started in 1990 and was completed in 2003.
