(b) 1. Seminal vesicles - They are tube-like structures that produce the fluid which serves as the transporting medium for sperms.


They form the accessory glands in the male reproductive system.


2. Prostate gland - It produces an alkaline secretion.


This secretion is added into the semen. It mixes with the semen and helps neutralize the vaginal acids.


3. Bulbo-urethral gland - It produces a secretion which serves as a lubricant for the semen to pass through the urethra.


It is also called Cowper’s gland.


4. Testis - It produces the male gamete sperm and the male sex hormone testosterone.


They are contained in scrotal sacs outside of the body cavity.


5. Vas deferens - They carry the sperms from the epididymis to the urethra.


They are also referred to as the sperm ducts.


6. Urethra - It serves as an outlet for delivering the sperms into the vagina.
