1. These are not inherited instead they gets developed in the response of surrounding environment.



These traits are acquired by change in the genes.



2. These traits are not genetical and therefore can not be passed to the future generation.



These can be passed on to the future generation.



Example:


When a beetle starves due to lack of food, it looses its weight. This trait is acquired one.



Example: color variation in a group of beetles.
