Write the two causes of human population explosion. Explain with the help of suitable example show this explosion can be checked.

The two causes of human population explosion are as follows:


1. Increasing birth rate.


2. Increasing longevity


3. Declination in death rate.


The explosion of human population can be checked by various methods such as adopting contraceptive methods, surgical methods and chemical methods to control the population by reducing the birth rate. Moreover, the literacy rate should be increased specially in case of females. Age for marriage should be increased, it will help in controlling the birth rate. Family planning programs should be organized by the government and people should be educated about increasing population.

(b) Draw a ray diagram to show the formation of image of an object placed between the pole and principal focus of a concave mirror. How will the nature and size of the -image formed change, if the mirror is replaced by a converging lens of same focal length?
