There has been a great contribution of Charles Darwin in the field of evolution which is as follows:

1. The theory of evolution in his book ‘Origin of species’ is given by Charles Darwin.


2. Darwin theory of evolution is known as ‘Theory of Natural Selection’ which suggests that nature selects the best adapted organisms to pass the characteristics to the next generation.
