Given:

Charge on particle = 2.5 × 10–16C


Charge on electron, = ne


Where


n = number of electrons


e = 1.6× 10-19 J


n = [2.5 × 10–16] / [1.6× 10-19]


n = 1562 electrons


Therefore, the number of electrons present is 1562 electrons.
