The Right to be informed as a consumer is the consumer right which has been violated in the incident mentioned above.

NOTE – The Right to be informed is every consumer’s right which includes the particulars of goods and services purchased by the consumer – the date of manufacture, date of expiry, ingredients etc. Every product is meant to have these particulars in order to protect the consumers from exploitation by the manufacturers.
