The land revenue system of the Mughals was important and well structured. It was rigid in terms of its implementation but flexible in the reign of Akbar and other Emperors. Mughals had a well – organized land revenue policy. There were several officers who were appointed to collect taxes from the peasants. The land revenue system had undergone various changes in its system in the Mughal empire.
