Attempt any three of the following sub questions:

Solve the following simultaneous equations using graphical method.
x + y = 6;
x – y = 2.

Draw the lines on the graph by plotting different points.

For x + y = 6: When x = 0, y = 6 and when x = 2, y = 4


For x – y = 2: When y = 0, x = 2 and when x = 3, y = 1




From the graph we can see that (4, 2) is the intersection point of both the lines.


Hence, (4, 2) is the solution.
