A playground in the town is in the form of a kite. The perimeter is 106metres. If one of its sides is 23metres. What are the lengths of other three sides?

The kite has four sides. There are exactly two distinct consecutive pairs of sides of equal length.

Let two different length be A and B.


Then the perimeter = 2A + 2B _______(i)


Given, perimeter = 106m


And one side i.e = 23m


According to Eq.(i), (2×23) + 2B = 106


2B = 60


B = 30


Hence, all sides are 23,23,30,30.
