Given, median = 15

As the terms are in ascending order, and


No of terms, n = 7


As, n is odd


Median is term.


⇒ Median is 4th term


⇒ median = x - 3


⇒ 15 = x - 3


⇒ x = 18


Hence, value of x is 18.
