A bag contains 50 bolts and 150 nuts. Half of the bolts and half of the nuts are rusted. If an item is chosen at random, find the probability that it is rusted or that it is a bolt.

No of bolts = 50


No of nuts = 150


Total no of things = 150+50 = 200


No of rusted bolts = 25


No of rusted nuts = 75


Probable outcomes = (50)+75


= 125
