Q1 of 35 Page 201

What is the area of the curved surface of a cone of base radius 12 centimetres and slant height 25 centimetres?

Given: base radius rb = 12cm

Slant height l = 25cm

We know that, Curved surface area of cone = πrbl

Where rb = base radius and l = slant height

Curved surface area of cone = π× 25× 12 = 300π cm2
