Short note on Phan Boi Chau.

Phan Boi Chau was a nationalist who was well educated in the Confucian tradition. In 1903, he formed the revolutionary society – Duy Tan Hoi and made prince Cuong De the head of this society. He became one of the major figures of the anti-colonial resistance. He wrote the most influential book known as ‘the history of the loss of Vietnam.’ He wrote this book on the advice and due to the influence of the Liang Qichao whom he met in Yokohama. His book mainly focused on two topics – the Loss of Sovereignty and the ties with China that ties both the countries with the shared culture
