Particles of water at zero degree Celsius have more energy as compared to particles of ice at same temperature. Explain.

Particles of water at zero degree Celsius has the latent heat of fusion. Whereas the particles of ice at same temperature do not have the same. Hence particles of water at zero degree Celsius have more energy than particles of ice at the same temperature.
