What is the full form of WHO?

WHO stands for World Health Organization. The World Health Organization (WHO) is an agency of the United Nations that is concerned with international public health. It was established on 7 April 1948. Headquarter of WHO is in Geneva, Switzerland. The WHO is a member of the United Nations Development Group. It has played a major role in the eradication of smallpox. Its current priorities include eradication of HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis; the mitigation of the effects of non-communicable diseases such as sexual and reproductive health, nutrition, food security, and healthy eating. It also conducts world health survey and publishes world health report.
