Each physiographic region of India complements the other and makes the country richer in its natural resources. Justify this statement with five examples.

India has all different features in one country which are opposite to each other.

i. India has the Thar Desert which is an arid and dry region whereas it also has the Western Ghats which experience high rainfall and high levels of humidity.


ii. India has northern plains which consist of highly fertile alluvial soil and suitable for cultivation whereas it has sandy soil in the arid region which is not suitable for cultivation.
