Which countries show a decline in poverty substantially according to the World Bank?

The World Bank is an international financial institution that provides loans to countries of the world. It comprises two institutions: the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD), and the International Development Association (IDA). Its most recent stated goal is the reduction of poverty. According to World Bank’s recent graph, South-Asia Countries (Afghanistan, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan, and the Maldives) are in the lead in poverty decrements followed by East Asia and Pacific Countries (Japan, North Korea, South Korea, China, and Taiwan). There is a decline in poverty ratios in India from 55 per cent in 1973 to 12.4 per cent in 2015.
