What do you mean by a good democratic front? Explain.

People rule through the representatives elected by themselves. It is a front in which due respect is given to different groups and views that exist in the country, where everyone has a right to vote, and value of each vote is equal, everyone has a voice in the shaping of public policies and as many people as possible should share power.

It means fulfilling the true essence of democracy. The notion government of the people, for the people and by the people is fully accepted.

A good democracy not only means an effectively working government but also where people are allowed to participate in the decision-making process of the country and where the functioning of the government is smooth and transparent.

A good democratic government eliminates all scope of elements that hamper the functioning of the government such as:

• Corruption

• Rigidness

• Nepotism

• Red-tapism

• Bureaucratic Structure
