Q6 of 30 Page 10

What is power sharing?

Power sharing is a way through which countries maintain political stability by equally sharing power and opportunities among the different social groups, political parties or pressure groups. They share power among the three different organs of the government - legislature, executive and judiciary. They also share power at different levels like state and central government.

Power sharing results in political stability by not allowing the minority feeling alienated. It also allows people to question those who are making laws for them and to know how they are being governed.
