What is the difference between a voter and a candidate?

Election is the basis of democracy and ensures that the most popular person emerges as the leader.

The important components of the election are Voters and candidates.

Voter: they are the common public who are above 18 years of age, they have their names in the electoral list of their particular constituency and cast votes to their desired political party and candidate.

Candidate: they belong to a particular party which is recognized by the election commission, and they contest in the election against other contestants.
