A toy is in the form a cone mounted on a hemisphere of diameter 7 cm. The total height of the toy is 14.5 cm. Find the volume of the toy.


Given: Diameter of a hemisphere = 7cm


So,


Height of the cone, h = 143-.5 – 3.5 = 11cm


The volume of a toy = Volume of cone + Volume of a hemisphere






= 231cm3
