Give: sin θ = 1/2

Therefore cosec θ = 1/sin θ

Consider 3 cot2 θ + 3 = 3 (cot2 θ + 1)


= 3 cosec2 θ (∵ 1 + cot2 θ = cosec2 θ)

= 3 × 4
