De-skilled worker means an individual who becomes less productive or incompetent which happens due to the introduction of the technology. For example – In the IT industry, professionals now make use of technology like the computer which is only leading to an increase in the de-skilled workers in the country.

Other meaning of this term could be deskilling happening when workers were replaced with the less trained or unskilled worker just to operate the technology that is being used.
