Genes and chromosomes have similar behaviour. Justify.

Genes and chromosomes function similarly as genes are a part of the chromosomes. Chromosomes are the coiled DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid ) and are proteinaceous in nature. Gene is the smallest unit of inheritance.
