Teacher, Teacher is a play which creates a comparison between the two different teachers and their process of teaching. Hamilton Cade takes a traditional approach as he has been a teacher at many schools. On the other side, Charles Carter uses a practical teaching approach which is activity based. He was an air force pilot but currently teaching as a handyman. Carter’s approach was simple and skill based and made learning easy for Freddie as compared to the ways used by Cade. Cade had developed a feeling of jealousy for Carter and tells Mr. Putnam that he had taken Freddie off the trampoline and also told Carter not to interfere in his work.
