To find: Differentiation of x2 sin x


Formula used: (i) (uv)′ = u′v + uv′ (Leibnitz or product rule)

Let us take u = x2 and v = sinx




Putting the above obtained values in the formula:-


(uv)′ = u′v + uv′


(x2 sin x)’ = 2x × sinx + x2 × cosx


= 2xsinx + x2cosx


Ans) 2xsinx + x2cosx
