Let us take y = cos²(x³)

So, by using the above formula, we have

cos²(x³) = 2 cosx³ ( - sin (x³))3x² = - 6x² cos(x³)sin x³

Differentiation of y = cos²(x³) is - 6x² cos(x³)sin x³
