Justice Rajindar Sachar Committee was the committee formed by the government to look into the social, economic and educational status of the Muslim Community in India.

The Committee concluded that on the basis of the above-mentioned indicators the Muslim community is equal to the community of Schedule Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
